Stadium .prk file pack?
I'm looking for some stadium files that I could import into my game, it seems like every league file I find has at least a few things wrong with at least one or two of the stadiums. Anyone know of a site that has this?
Thanks. |

http://www.jazzrack.us/mods/ootpmods/mlb_2k10.zip The prk files for each. Both day and night. and the parks.dat file are attached below. The ballpark pics go in your ballparks folder. PRK files go in your saved_games\your saved game\import_export folder. You have to manually import them in commish mode. 1. From the team home page, click "options and ballpark" then click "edit ballpark" (bottom right tab) then click "pictures and coordinates" (top left tab). 2. On this screen make sure the dropdown to the far right is set to "daytime". On the left, next to "daytime pic" click the "...." tab and select the correct daytim pic you want, Make sure the preview matches the correct daytim pic you want to use and click the "Action" tab (bottom right) and click "Import data from file into this park" and select the ballparks day or night prk file. 3. Repeat step 2. for the Nighttime pic. Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 for the rest of the teams. Good luck and enjoy. Last edited by Bigrod; 01-21-2012 at 09:58 PM. |

Perfect. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much.
Oof. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Does it have to be a brand new game, or can I replace the parks.dat file with a fictional league where I've only gone so far as the draft? Anyway, I tried replacing the parks.dat file like instructed, then quit and reloaded the game, but the fields are still incorrect. Am I doing something dumb? You're not dumb, I'm just not good at explaining things.
![]() I could have sworn that replacing the parks.dat file worked. Maybe it did for new games and not saved games. I just can't remember, sorry. However, manually importing the data can be done at anytime for existing saved games and there's no need to restart the game as these changes are instant. Make sure you're in commish mode. 1. From the team home page, click "options and ballpark" then click "edit ballpark" (bottom right tab) then click "pictures and coordinates" (top left tab). 2. On this screen make sure the dropdown to the far right is set to "daytime". On the left, next to "daytime pic" click the "...." tab and select the correct daytime pic you want, Make sure the preview matches the correct daytime pic you want to use for that team and click the "Action" tab (bottom right) and click "Import data from file into this park" and select the ballparks day .prk file. 3. Now for the night pics, make sure the dropdown to the far right is set to "nighttime". On the left, next to "nighttime pic" click the "...." tab and select the correct nighttime pic you want, Make sure the preview matches the correct nighttime pic you want to use for that team and click the "Action" tab (bottom right) and click "Import data from file into this park" and select the ballparks night .prk file. Select the next team from the top dropdown, click "edit ballpark" and repeat steps, 2 and 3. Do the same for the remaining teams. Sorry about the confusion, totally my fault. Where is the .prk file?
Thanks for posting the park images but I when I open the zip file there are only .jpgs of the parks. There is no .prk file to import data from.
From reading the instructins there should be a .prk file right? Pls advise, Thanks! |
