2012 MLB High Res Photos

Hi all,
Updated today with all Personnel and latest player changes.
Includes every Major Leaguer and then some. Completely up to date as of 4/25/2012. 1,394 photos in High Res png 170x255 size with full transparent backgrounds. These look excellent in ootp 13 and can be used in other versions as well with no problems. Unzip the file directly to your "Photos" folder as these are not in separate team folders. If you previously dl'd them, no problem, you can choose to replace or not when extracting to your photos folder.
Rosters change with patches, so once the latest patch is out, if you notice anyone missing, let me know and I'll update it here.

Stay tuned...I'm running late as espn's not so fast updating pics this year. I've got them all up to date as of today and just need to finish the last few team's resizing. Should be done in 3-4 days. These look really great in 13 since it uses transparencies now. Finished. Link in Post 1.

I run on MAC.. downloaded the file but wouldn't open.

Any recommendations?

You'll need the mac equivalent of winrar or you can wait till I get the Personnel pics done and repack everything into a zip file rather than rar.

Also, if you put "mac rar files" into google, you'll see a link to a utube video that shows you how to unpack rar files on a mac.

I put this in my photos folder but they dont show up in game unless I go into each player and manually change it.

I had downloaded the 2012 All-in-one mod previously does that have something to do with it? If so how do I get rid of that.

No, not really. The problem is that once pics are in the person_pictures folder. Real pics don't upate the way facegen does. Here's what you need to do, go to your saved game's\news\html\images\person_pictures folder and move everthing to a backup folder. Then start the game and click on "Preferences" and click the "facegen" tab and make sure the last option is set to "search for photo first". Load your game and it will rebuild the real player photos as they are needed by the game.

Thanks. Use them where you want and thanks for asking. Yes, got them from ESPN mostly, some from MLB.com, some from Zimbio, none from here. Then used paint.net to touch up the ones that I thought needed it.

5/1: Another 2 Photos for the A's. Brandon Inge and Jim Miller. Just right click and save the pics to your photos folder. If you don't want to overwrite Brandon Inge then rename it or save it to a new location. Should be finished checking the MLB transactions by this weekend. If not many pics need updating, I'll post here. If more than 10, I'll upload just the update and post the link in the first post.

These are fantastic. My issue/problem is that I like when a player changes teams that the facegen would update their caps and stuff. But if I use real pics, that can't happen. What to do. LOL. FaceGen or real pics....
