Unified Baseball League quickstart

I'm thinking of releasing a Quickstart, the Unified Baseball league, assembled from various talented modders, Google searches and my own designs. I use it myself. The parameters are:

1950 Season
154 games
20 teams
4 Divisions with playoffs for 8 qualifiers
5 levels of minors

Since putting something like this together can be finicky and requires some care with the various folders I'd prefer to have some people test this first. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send the file(s).

Thanks for putting this together. Just so you know the cities are mostly wrong when you look under team options and ballpark. Doesn't take long to correct but I thought you might want to know.

If you can include a description of the quickstart and what it does, that would be great too.

Oops. See what you mean. Not a biggie though. I'll wait until more feedback comes in before releasing V2. Thanks for the input.

My own preference is to provide teams with empty rosters. The user then 'fills' them with fictional players. I don't know how that will go over with the general public, however.

Additional pix from ingame: Albany Xplosion, Colorado Rapids, Los Angeles Curve, St. Louis Saints and Minnesota Mad Ants. There's a mix of mass market organizations and marginal ones. Fixed the team option page.

Considering adding color coordinated sleeves to all the teams. Thoughts?

I can make one. it would certainly have a smaller footprint.

Or, better yet, you can download the original file and make your own. Go into Game Setup and Save World as template. You may have to reload manually some of the graphics from the QS file- like the logos. Kind of an OOTP quirk.

Ooops!

There was an error on the upload of the fictional UBL league. The new file, which incorporates the fixes, additions and enhancements is titled 'UBL2'. This will avoid confusion.
