Nutts NCAA Mod database of sorts

Hi all,
Many many thanks to Nutts for his great work. I love to play the NCAA. I've gathered up all the rosters and stats for every D1 team since around 2000. If there's enough interest, I'll make it available to all, although, it'll be a while.
They'll be in csv files so one can open them up in a spreadsheet and pull the rosters for any team in any given year that's available.
Data gathered so far is:
1. All teams rosters available as officially reported to the NCAA. Since the Official NCAA roster limit is 35, I've kept fake players to fill each team to the 35 man limit. Each player has Fake as a nickname so they can easily be identified/and deleted if you open the rosters.csv file in a spreadsheet. I wanted this as I find 90% of the teams have 30 or more players.

2. All hitting and pitching stats as officially reported to the NCAA as well as from other sites. All data verified and corrected/added as possible.
Fielding stats as I can find them..They are not reported to the ncaa.
Where Pitching AB and/or BF is not available I use a well tested formula to compute the BF. I've found it to be as accurate as you can get without the correct data.

Completed so far:
1. All teams 2012 real rosters for NUTS ncaa mod.
2. Pitching stats formatted and checked for Teams with names start from A-C

Needed to complete:
1. Finish Pitching stats. Working on teams starting with D.
2. Hitting stats sorted to comply with ootp's formatting.
3. Fielding stats where possible.
4. Real birthdates where available or comparable with age at school year.
Freshman-18-19
Soph.-19-20
Jr.-20-21
Sr.-21-22
Max age for any player is 24.
So there's no misunderstanding, I should have named the title of the post differently. Probably should have put it in the database section as well. This in no way uses anyone else's work other than my own.

Any interest in this??

This will make the NCAA mod have full correct rosters with full stats for all players?
Wow oh wow, this will make the NCAA mod as complete as could ever be expected. I'd expect everyone who uses college feeders would be interested. I know i will be using this if i can!

Sure will...at least to the point that the official ncaa data is correct.

Got another 2 weeks or so on the pitching. Then off to the batting. Fielding's gonna be much later as that data is really hard to find for earlier years than current.

How's this going? Really looking forward to it. If this gets released It'll be on of the best things to happen to OOTP in years.

It'll be released, just at a standstill at the moment as I am responsible for getting the games MILB career stats up to date for v14 and at the moment I only have one helper. Once that's done, I'll finish up the ncaa db.
Sorry for the delay, but my beta duties come first.

Currently all pitching and batting stats are done from 2002 to present as well as fielding where possible. This is every D1 team that played in these years.
What's left to do:
Compile all teams rosters for each year.
Add in histories.
Once this is done, it'll get formatted and compiled into ootp format.

As I stated in a PM six weeks ago, you CANNOT import team histories via a database. If so, it would be nice for whomever "knows" this to share with not just me but the entire community on this.

Though that's certainly too bad I'd say that it's relatively unimportant compared to what we will be able to import once this is finished.

As you know, I've done a ton of work on NCAA rosters myself (and sent most of it to you). It'll be great to have the rosters and stats importable, an enormous time and effort saver. I can't wait

Btw, as far as not responding to PM's goes...

did you get the PM I sent you a while ago? Are you still working on your project and if so would you like me to send you more rosters?

Can you use any help? I've worked a lot on compiling NCAA rosters in the past for OOTP (although I've never released any of my work since its always been in varying stages of incompletion). If there's anything I can do please send me a PM and let me know. Thanks again for all your efforts.

did you get the PM I sent you a while ago? Are you still working on your project and if so would you like me to send you more rosters?

I haven't started on 2013 just yet. Trying to get artwork for the transitional schools in NKU, Abilene Christian, UIW and Grand Canyon.

I got a message from BigRod that said "you can use a data spreadsheet to import the league/team histories

" and that kinda ticked me off that if he knows how and is not telling myself or anyone else is kinda effed up.

I once sent a PM to CubbyFan about the same thing. He knows, just doesn't tell anybody.

Just a quick update...I'm finally done updating all the minor lg. stats for ootp 14 and the project is not dead as I'm working on it everyday now and as I do, I'm also adding the 2013 rosters as well as I go along.
All stats from 2004-2012 are gathered and need to be sorted.
Rosters are gathered and each players info needs to be entered. DOB, ht.,wt.,b/t and positions need to be figured out.
Completed so far for 2012-2013:
ACC Atlantic Division
ACC Coastal Division
America East
Atlantic 10 Conference
Atlantic Sun Conference
Big 12 Conf

Big East Conference should be done in a few days:

I can help with the bio data. Have all of it (except a few stray birthdays) for the ACC and Big 12 and some for a few other teams from the above conferences. I'm including it as I add teams in the NCAA roster project. So when you send me the data you've finished with for use with the roster project, I can add biographical data and send it back to you.

Just a quick update...project isn't dead. I'm working on it daily as I also help lucas with the community roster project as well as attending to beta duties.
This is a massive project and is going to take some time to complete, but I'll get there someday.
