Anyone Still Doing Face Gen Requests?

I've noticed that a lot of really good young players still don't have face gens that I can find anywhere for download. Seems the MLB and AAA rosters are basically complete, but AA and below is pretty hit and miss. I thought it would be a good time with it being the offseason, to go ahead and try and see if that could be fixed. Since I have no clue how to create the face gens, I would be more than happy to collect the pictures and help organize the project if any of the face gen creators would be willing to share some of their time? Thanks in advance for reading this.

I can do some, but I can not guarantee prompt delivery on them as i am only on here a few hours in the A.M.
To do them yourself, download the Facegen Modeller (I don't think it works for MAC, so if you are a MAC user ignore this and I or someone else will do them)
Singular Inversions - Downloads

To make the facgen select Photofit, next Load (try to get a good fceshot, think mugshot) (most AA players are hard to get a recent good shot of them)
Good facegen samples:

Bad facegen samples:

Picture #1 shows too much jersey and #2 has his face at an angle.

After loading pic, click next. Position the Markers around his face (doesn't have to be exact, as you will perfect it in the next step. Click Next.
Position the Markers in the middle of his eyes, around his nose, near the cheekbones ( I tend to go in a little big to avoid a fat face, see Prince Fielder) at the corner of the mouth and the 2 on each side of his face close to even with the 2 around the mouth, and the final one at the base of his chin (if he has a double chin I put it lower. exam. Fat Bastard.) Click Next, then Start Now. Takes 3-5 minutes depending on blah & blah.
Save. Albert_Pujols It will automatically add the .fg to the back of it.
Note: Players with initials for a 1st name like A.J. Pierzynski you can do them 3 ways. #1 A_J_Pierzynski and teh fg will get added to it automatically or A.J._Pierzynski and you will have to add teh .fg to teh back of his name or AJ_Pierzynski which is how I think Gambo and others do players with initials.
See screenshots for Pujols.
Some players with non mugshot style pics will still come out fine overall, but you may have to re do them more then once to get them as close to perfect as you prefer.

Thanks for the tutorial. Question, on average what is the typical pixel size minimum that is needed for a decent turn out in a face gen? Would say the 90x135 from minor league/com be usable?

I try to use a minimum 200 x 300. You can resize it using a program like Irfanview if you want. Its usually ok as long as it comes out ok. The Modeller may show the pic as grainy when in the program but they still usually come out ok.

So, I decided to give this a try and see how it would turn out.
The top ranked prospect in the game without a facegen was Jurickson Profar
So I found his pic and here's the results. Attached is the original Pic. His .Fg (If anyone wants it?) and the in game baseball card to show results

For some reason I already had him in my OOTP 13 Fg Folder. Gonna have to figure out why. I don't think I have done him yet.

For some reason all of these guys are missing from my game. I'm hoping you might be able to show me how to find them, so I'm going to post what I have collected by far. I need these facegens in my game:

Mike Olt
Nick Franklin
Jackie Bradley Jr.
Alen Hanson
Rymer Liriano
Jedd Gyorko
Jean Segura
Cesar Puello
Kyle Gibson
Robbie Erlin
Drew Smyly
Mitchell Brown
Martin Perez
Zach Lee
Xavier Avery

EDIT: I do not expect you to make all of these, just posting it to show what I am missing and if anyone knows where to locate them if they have been already made, which is suspect most of these have.

I know this is an old post, but question about facegen modeller, it looks like if the picture has facial hair, it will keep that in game. can it then be removed or would a new facegen without facial hair have to be generated?

I am going to have to give this app a try, get myself in the game as a coach my wife is going to wonder what in the world I am doing taking self portraits in the kitchen, LOL. Just curious as to how it will turn out as I have my seasonal beard right now.

I had looked at this application a year ago but didn't think much of it because of the price, never saw they had a free version! its pretty awesome that the ballcaps cover the SI logo.

The facial hair can be removed in the facegen modeler, but not in game.

okay so its better to save a few versions in the modeler and then change them out in the .fg folder when I want to.

can facial hair be added in game to a custom facegen?

Also, try to do pics without teeth. Smiling pictures make the dreaded "double smile" in the game. Jackson above has one big grin.

Okay here is my first attempt at Facegen (other than myself which was freaky accurate, my wife got a kick out of me as a black man). Super cool program.

Anyway, here is Bono (tried a few with side profiles which I actually found but it looked best with only the front shot for some reason). I noticed that you need a super detailed picture for it to work best (so edited photos with skin softened too much and stuff doesn't work that well which explains why females are so tough to do).

Also as you might imagine, its pretty impossible to find a picture of him without glasses (especially an accurate portrait style one). I found a black and white one from about 10 years ago, in photoshop I added a little skin tone color and then adjusted more in facegen modeler, worked out pretty good.

I didn't even check to see if Jordan was in the game, which he is, and I guess it makes sense as he did play in the minors...

But the facegen just looks a little generic, almost Kobe like, no offense to whoever did it.

I tried my own but its an older photo of Jordan (like 40 years old) it seems pretty accurate but old...

okay, I was able to edit the jordan I did a little and take away some of the texture (thus making him look younger), here is my jordan compared to the one in the historical facegen files.

Love Da Coach, Ditka is one that I have not done before.
