The Game's History of Baseball Quickstart Series

With the release of No Pepper's & Ashante Warrior's NL uniform set I decided to try to make as accurate as possible National Association Quickstart. This is the 1st of what will be a series of quickstarts.
I will release a set in 1871, 1876, 1882, 1887, 1890 & 1901.
Thanx to Gambo for providing .PRK files, Justafan for logos, all uniform makers but the sets I am using are mostly from No Pepper, Ashante Warrior, Reds1 & txranger.
Thanx to whomever made the 19th Century Schedules file.
I left the QS at the Inaugural draft in case you want 100% accuracy. Subsequent QS's will not be player to actual team accurate.

For 1871 I am using No Pepper's NA uniform set. 1871 NA schedule from the 19th Century Schedules. (White Stockings is 100% accurate) I had to change a few things on it to get it to work.
1871 95% accurate

Thanks for making this available The Game. I'm getting back into the game and it looks like I've got a steep learning curve ahead of me. I see in your screenshot above you are using Spritze's HS database for this universe. I do not have that selected for this quickstart when I created it. Can I change the database now before I conduct the inaugural draft or at any point beyond creation? I think the HS database might have additional 19th century players in its pool, which is something I might want before I start.

Also, are you planning on releasing the other quickstarts you've mentioned? Thanks in advance!

I do not think that I have had issues changing the DB path before but I can not guarentee that there will not be complications.

I plan on working on this after I get my EBL vs MLB league up to OD 2020. Hopefully in the next 2 weeks. then I plan on working on this league until I get to 1901.
I am in 1875 on this league, just figuring out how to move teams to the NL without losing NA history. As it is I have 2 Chicago NA teams.I deleted the 1st one after 1871 then made a new team for 1874.

Tried your 1871 quick start. Found it quite interesting that pitcher Bobby Mathews hit .409.

Did that lead the league? This project unfortuately died. I just havent had time to advance past 1875 and have deleted it. Hopefully Historical will be more accurate on 15.

Bobby was the only one over .400. A question though. How do you move the teams around?

League setup - Edit League Structure - Generate new schedule when done, although there is a file out there somewhere that has real pre 1901 schedules.
