The 2015 NCAA Roster Mod

Just starting work on this, but still need to finish up the work from 2014.

So there won't be anything to see for a while, this thread is just so I can keep track of what I've done so far. The mod will come a bit later.

Not a lot of finished teams to post, but I work on the file every day and have done an enormous amount of necessary prep work. Once I get rolling with finalizing each team, progress should be very quick.

Still going strong, but I'll repeat this from last year's thread. Any help anyone can provide is that much less I have to do, and will make the project that much better!

If I'm ever going to make this project as comprehensive as I've hoped for, covering all levels of college baseball, I'm absolutely going to need some more help.

What I'm looking for is one of two things.

You can help by picking a team, or conference or group of teams, whatever, as many or few as you like, from D2, D3, NAIA or Juco and then filling in the fictional players I'm adding to their rosters with the team's real players names and bio data, height weight, dob (if available), hometown, handedness and number. Then send the exported roster files back to me and I'll add them back into the main file.

So if you're interested in helping, please sen me a pm and we'll sort out what you'd like to do and I'll provide some instructions if needed.

Thanks!

I'll get the D2 Sunshine state conf. Stats in a bit.
Central Atlantic Collegiate
More to come and I'll add them here. Can you format them??
If you can wait a bit, I can scrape all of them from here. 2014-2015 isn't added yet.

NCAA® Career Statistics
Cool!

I can format them, no prob. Main issue with that site is that it doesn't include complete pitching stats like the other NCAA site does. It's actually missing quite a few stats iirc.

The other thing I could use help with is someone helping with the collection of 2015 stats for D2, D3, NAIA and Juco.

They're easy to find, the NCAA.com site has full stats for D2 and D3, the juco website has their stats as does the NAIA site. I can provide links etc. if needed.

You'll just need to copy and paste the stats from the webpage into open office and then send me the file with the collected stats. You can do this for as many or as few teams as you'd like.

So if you're interested in helping, please sen me a pm and we'll sort out what you'd like to do and I'll provide some instructions if needed.

Thanks!
Nevermind, realized you didn't mention D1

Well, I do most of the D1 stuff myself, and it's a bit more complicated to deal with, because of player movement etc.

Lots of that has to be done in the master copy of the file. But what did you have in mind? Maybe I can figure out a way to make it work.

I had already began the very beginnings of a league based on the Missouri Valley Conference.

So all know...I got the D1, 2 and 3 stats covered now that I got web extractor to work with the site.
Is there any 1 site that I can access team rosters & bio data other than having to go to the darn individual sites???
Any other years you need since I can now go back to 2011-12???

I don't believe so

I don't have D3 for any years. Also don't have D2 beyond 2013 and 2014. Neither is a high priority by any means.
