World Baseball League Quickstart
I just completed a quickstart for a "World Baseball League," which includes national teams for every (largely) recognized country in the world. It's a single league with continental divisions and a playoff that includes the top 30+ teams in the world. Player creation is weighted based on country population (very accurate percentages), so countries like China and India will be powerhouses and nations like Micronesia or Malta will be perennial bottom feeders. I'm using someone's national logos and flag jerseys for this project (thanks to whoever that is, sorry I can't remember your name, but your creation has made this project very enjoyable for me!). So, if anyone is interested in trying this quickstart out, please post below!

Yep! Every nation has "minor league" teams that have different functions. The "AAA" team is the reserves - those who didn't make the cut for the national team. The "AA" team is a U-23 team, and the "A" team is a U-20 team, so you can have national teams' talented youth play against each other sorta like how FIFA does it with the u17 and U20 World Cups. I set age limits for those leagues so that you don't have over-agers playing on those teams.

I'll be able to post it this weekend. I won't be using the computer I have it stored on until then.

I'd have to check, but right around 200 national teams (of course, not including the reserve, U-23, and U-20 teams that each country has). I should note that not all of those minor league teams will be filled out for each nation. A country like China or India will definitely have theirs filled to the brim, but a nation like Seychelles will barely have enough to fill out their national team roster. For that reason, I enabled ghost players in the minors.

I'm aiming for a Sunday afternoon release. Adding some finishing touches in the meantime.

They match the team's nationality. So only Austrians play for Austria, Americans for the U.S., Timorese for East Timor, etc. It will stay that way as you play through seasons, since it's in the league settings to not allow foreign players on the national teams.
