Updated and improved Franchise Legends Quickplay (4500 players, 150 per franchise)

Hello , here is the improved and updated franchise legends quick start. I found some errors in the 1st one w some of the team depth charts. Now each milb team has at least 1 backup at every position. This is intended more for a single season replay then a build your own franchise GM option so I disabled the finances. (however, this can still be updated in the options). For lineups, pitching staffs, ect the AI did most of this but feel free to make any changes.

I am looking forward to updating this for ootp18 next year once I see how it plays out and on feedback from other players. Post or message me as getting ideas from other will help me improve things as update rosters each year.

Enjoy this league of 4500 players (150 per team-80 hitters and 70 pitchers) which allows for a functional minor league system of aaa,aa,high a, and a leagues.

Rosters where selected based of players with the most career plate appearances for a team while considering that each position needed to be filled. Pitchers were selected based on career games started, games relieved and years played per franchise.

After players were selected, seasons are based off of the players best year for the particular franchise represented.

Love this idea - have been considering doing something like this on a slightly smaller scale - say 100 deep per franchise. I have played older variations of the concept and have fun with it.

The one thing I would do different is only assign a player to one franchise - not having 3 A-Rod's in the league for example. I may tweak a copy of this to fit that criteria.

Hello - I took the original down because after posting found too many errors, particularly when a player w the same name was in MLB twice. For example , there was more than one Billy Williams. I also needed to change the setting the 1960 as there where way too many strikeouts with todays settings.

However , I made corrections and could get this to you. The only issue is I am already into the season and am not sure if there is a way to restart a season on opening day?

I think the only way is if you created a backup or quickstart of the game prior to the start of the season. (which I do everytime I make any changes to any of the settings, so I have a "good" copy if things go well, or a point to start from if they don't)

If you're still experimenting with the game, I'd be interested if/when you get a finished product, or even a beta you'd want tested.
I'd even be interested in just a players list / import year if you could provide that at some point; might cut out some of my own legwork especially for the older years teams that I'm not that familiar with.
