August 1st - Updated Roster Quickstart

I've created a quickstart which is available to download which includes all the trades from this season up to and including the deadline deals. It also includes a lot of the draft picks on the correct teams (from the first 4 rounds or so) and also had the correct allstar players from the 2016 season.

This won't be perfect, and there will be mistakes, but it should be a solid, stable quickstart. The start date is obviously 1st August.

Oh, and prepare for another high draft pick if you plan to play as the Red Sox...

Schedule just August/September or season ends in like December? Just MLB or Independent/Overseas/other ones to include? Injured List up to date to?

I have the file saved in the quickstarts folder but I can't create a league with it. How do I load it from the server first? Sorry I'm new to this.

James Loney is on Round Rock Express not Mets. Also Game exits with a Exe error so has anybody tryed it out without changing Rules,adding Franchise Roster League and so on changes and not got error.

Wrong.

James Loney is on the Mets. I watched the Mets/Yankees game on August 1. Loney started at first base.

In the Game he has Stats for 2016 Mets but says plays for Round Rock Express Triple-A team of Rangers. Other problems might be AL decision like Drew Butera isn't the backup to Perez and G. Molina is. Also good that Royals are winning the division but Mike Mousakas should be on the DL out for year. Also no real Managers or GM's I think.
I solved Error Problem but I still get Trade proposals when I have A. GM accepting or Rejecting Trades but it doesn't.

Get rid of Norton. That p.o.s. program comes up with too many false positives during scans.

I also hate Norton, but Malwarebytes went crazy for me on that site. It is a program that has never let me down, so I got out of there in a hurry.

Can't download this, won't off of a site where I keep getting pop ups. Why cant this get on the MODS site in the game?, why is there such a dearth of downloads on there?, Football Manager has 1000's of downloads, is the community dying here? or am i looking in the wrong place?

I know. When I finally got into the Workshop, there were six items and that's it.

There's lots of content, it's just not on the Workshop.

Why isn't this on the downloads site in-game? Probably because the modder didn't post it there but choose to release in on 4shared.

Try OOTPMods.com - not the most elegant looking site, but lots of content from the major modders of the game.

Also, if you're looking for things like jerseys and caps, many folks have photobucket sites where they store their work. Links are often in sig files.

And the company has now released an August 30th roster update. The game still starts at Opening Day, but the rosters and ratings are accurate as of yesterday. Good for playing "what if Team X had Player Y on their roster all season?" scenarios. There's a thread with a link on the main subforum.

Yes but the August 30 ones would be better if start date was on 8-30 and Injured list as of the 30.
