Updated Rosters to January 16th
Updated rosters up to January 16th 2017. All trades, signings and waiver claims up to that date. Updated extensions (Danny Duffy, Odubel Herrera etc).
I've also updated the new CBA rules, or at least the ones which can be updated. There is now a 10 day DL and a 7 day DFA period. Please note that standings and stats are NOT updated. The Dodgers beat the Yankees in the WS and Chris Davis hit 60 homers. I hope this is useful to some until OOTP18 comes out https://www.dropbox.com/s/ehiimwqx4r...quick.rar?dl=0 Installation Instructions: - Download the file and extract it to the following folder: C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Out of the Park Developments\OOTP Baseball 17\quickstart_games - Start OOTP, and on the main menu screen select 'NEW QUCKSTART GAME' - You should see a list of available quick starts (as seen in the pic below) - Select the 'Jan16' quick start, enter a name for your game and click create game Last edited by philthepat; 01-18-2017 at 04:02 PM. |

Newbie Update Sticky
Is there a sticky or other resource out there that would walk a newbie through the installation of files such as this?

Just a heads up Alsono is on Baltimore not A;s,Cecil still on Market,Josh Hamilton not at Round Rock and so on changes missing prior to 16th. Jose Bautista,J.P. Arencibia retiring and so on happened after 16th.

Thanks for the instructions. I'm afraid it didn't work on my Mac, though. As you can see from the screenshots, the Jan16 folder doesn't show up as a choice, even though it was extracted in the proper location. Are there any Mac folks who've made this work?

Hi - I've gotten this working - just make sure that the compressed file is inside the original quicksave folder as it is on the other quicksave files. That worked for me!

Pablo666, does my setup in the post above yours match what you did? Do you have a Mac?

sorry no a PC - I would imagine the principle is the same though....check that inside that folder is a zipped folder like the other quickstart files.

Ah, there's not a zipped file inside; I didn't notice that in the other ones! My Mac must have auto-unzipped everything, not just the .rar file. What's your zipped file name?i

As can be seen in the screenshot below, I zipped all the contents except for the description.txt file, but it still didn't work. Any other ideas?

I honestly don't know Mac as well as I should but maybe try two things:
Delete the .zip suffix add the file that is in the other quickstarts to the folder..... Dunno if it will make any difference.....as I said I don't know Macs well! Good luck! |

Thanks for the ideas, but I still can't get it to work. Has anyone gotten this to work on a Mac?

Did you do anything special? Do my screens above match yours? I'm particularly wondering about Unarchiever uncompressing both the .rar and .zip files, which I had to manually redo.
