all star games?

In OOTP 2007 how do you get the schedule generator to schedule an all star game that you can play? I get teams selected, and a break for the game, but the AS break is randomly established (sometimes over week ends), the AS game is not usually scheduled during the AS Break and often all teams are playing on the date the AS Game is set.

This was apprarently never answered, but I have the same question. How do you go into the schedule editor and add an all star game? I see how to add a regular season game, an exhibition game, etc, but not an all star game.

The easiest way to add an all star game is to edit the schedule that the game is using. You can export the file, edit it and then import it back into the game using notepad. If the schedule all ready has an all-star game but it is not in a valid date then export and look at the schedule for a day number that is not being used by any games and schedule the ASG there.

You should have a value in the ASG date on the top of the file. It will say something like 100 or another number. Look for this day and make sure that no games are played, if there are games find a different day and change the number in the "" to the day you want to schedule the game. If there is a 0 in the value then you can simply add a numeric value.

I hope this helps. One thing to make sure of is that you have the all star option checked in league setup also.
