Schedule Request

Hello,

I'm wondering if one of the talented schedule makers on these boards would be interested/willing to do a 30-team (non-MLB) schedule for me:

162 games, unbalanced, no interleague, with all-star game
SL1
D1: 4 teams
D2: 6 teams
D3: 4 teams
SL2
D1: 4 teams
D2: 6 teams
D3: 6 teams

I did not find this particular configuration in Sandman's excellent schedule set, but if he or anyone else would be willing to give it a shot that would be much appreciated.

I can give it a go but won't be able to until Sat or Sun if that is okay. If someone else gets to it first it is no problem. Busy time of year for me.....

No need to rush at all. I still need to sim a few years and then do the expansion before I would need to use it anyway.

I really appreciate it.

Will have this done within a few days... but until then here is the layout.

14 team league 4/6/4
16 team league 4/6/6

no interleague. All star break of 3 days with the ASG played on the middle day (Tuesday).

114 games in division, 48 non division games
Each team will play 57h/57a in their division, 4 team divisions have 19h/19a each team, 6 team divisions have 11-12h/11-12a each opponent.

Each team will play 24 games against each outside division, each team will play 6 games (3h/3a) against the 4 team divisions, 4 games (2h/2a) against the 6 team divisions.

Offdays are only on Mondays/Thursdays, Games are scheduled M-F @7:05pm
Sat @ 3:05pm and Sundays games start at 1:05pm. Season will be schedule to start on the first monday after 4/1 (or 4/1 if the date is a Monday.) Work has been hectic. Hope this weekend to have this completed....

Regards,

Sandman

Please let me know if this is suitable. If it seems like too many divisional games then I could probably do a 90-72 split. This will give you more than 4 games against the non divisional teams, 7-9 depending on division.

Your call on this.

Regards,

Sandman

SandMan,

That sounds great as you've described. The league that this is for is based in Canada and as a result the league is very geographically stratified with most teams in the suburbs of Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. As a result, a schedule that is very unbalanced is quite appropriate and adds to the realism (at least, as far as basing a 30-team league in Canada permits realism).

I have the schedule done, but unfortunately it is on my laptop and I won't get it back until Monday. I have created the schedule in 3 files. 1 is the total of 30 teams, the other two are posted in case anyone wants to use the format for a single league. Either the 14 or the 16 team versions....

Will post them here when I get the files back...

Here is the 30 team schedule in the format requested.

I have not included a 14 and 16 team league file but can break this down if others request it in a single league format in 14(4/6/4) or 16(4/6/6) formats.

Enjoy.....
