3 divsions of 8 teams

162 games

play other divsions 4 times (2 home, 2 away) = 64 games
own divsion 14 times (7 home, 7 away) = 98 games

all-star game

That is doable, just a bit awkward with so many 2-game series.

Since the following already exists (in a 48-team no interleague file) I offer it up:
# 16-17 games against 7 other teams in division (7-9H/7-9A)
# 3 games against 16 other teams in league (3H or 3A)

As for ASG, there cannot be one in a league with 1 subleague and an odd number of divisions. The game simply will not create the All-Star Game in such a case.
