Needed- Very Very Quick Schedule Conversion (64 teams 1 SL to 2)
I have a league that I am going to expand to 64 teams. I've found a schedule that is exactly what I need except for it is set up for one subleague. I need two distinct leagues. I've read up on how to change the heading of a schedule so the game will intrepret it to have the separate leagues, but my word processors don't allow me to save in the proper format.
All I need is for this schedule to be changed from 1 subleague with 8 divisions to 2 with 4. Should be an extremely easy change for someone who is accustomed to it, and I would really appreciate the effort! # # 64 team schedule, 162 games # Designed for the following configuration: # 1 subleague with 8 divisions, each with 8 teams # # # 17-18 games against 7 other teams in division (7-10H/7-10A) # 3 games against 14 other teams in league (3H or 3A) # # Interdivision games are one home series and one road series # against two different teams in each other division # # # No cases of more than 20 straight days without offday # # No homestands or roadtrips longer than 14 games # # All game times set at 7:05pm # # Season begins first Monday on or after April 1st # Season thus ends late September/early October # # All-Star Game set for first Tuesday on or after July 9th # Attached FilesILN_BGN_G162_SL1_D1_T8_D2_T8_D3_T8_D4_T8_D5_T8_D6_ T8_D7_T8_D8_T8_C_a1_gmo.zip (18.5 KB, 6 views) |

Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, it is saying that the schedule loaded has a different structure than the current league. I believe the problem may be that the interleague games aren't being accounted for properly. According to the schedule information there are now 42 interleague games per team, but they are not accounted for in the in-schedule.
I'd be interested to see if changing ILN to ILY, then inter_league="0" to 42 would change it. |

I edited the header for the interleague games. And rezipped.
The 0 just gets changed to a 1 (0=no, 1=yes)

The interleague thing was fixed and I'm still getting the same issue. The only other thing I notice that may be causing the issue is an extra dash before SL2. Seeing as the consistent error is league structure, I think its possible this is the culprit, as I don't see that in any of the schedules that load properly.
Thanks for all the help you've given so far, if you could try one more time without that extra dash I think it may work. If it doesn't, I'll just call it a wash and say it wasn't meant to be because I don't see anything else that could cause the error. |
