24 teams - 144 games
I have two 12 team leagues (no divisions), and am looking to introduce interleague play to a balanced schedule. I'm looking for each team to play a three game series against each team in the other league, while playing 3 series against each team in the same league. so that's a 144 game schedule, with 36 interleague games. Thanks in advance!

Your math doesn't work out
11 division teams x 9 games. 99 games 12 inter league teams x 3 games. 36 games That's 135 games |

You may want to use even numbers for games as well. With odd numbers and odd series it's difficult to ensure equal home and away splits
Try 11X8=88g Then 12X4=48g Total=136g

I can still make this a 144 game schedule. It just won't be balanced.
36 IL games. 108 division games. Will have either 8/10/12 vs division opponents If you would rather have a balance schedule I will make it like its stated above. 24 teams
2 subleauges 1 division of 12 in each league 136 Games Play division teams 8 times each Play other league teams 4 times each 4h/4a 2h/2a All Star game in the middle. Starts mid April and ends mid September. |
