Request 20 team, 94 game schedule
Hi all,
I would like to request a schedule for a 20 team league.. I`ve got four divisions, each with five teams.. I would like each team to play the division opponents 8 games at home, and 8 games away, for a total of 64 division games.. Then i would like each team to play 1 game against each other team (not within their division..for a total of 30 games So a total of 94 games.. I would like the season to start in the beginning of April, and run through to end of September or early October... I don`t care for day or night games... I hope there is someone who could create this.. Thanks... |

I have the structure all set up for this one. Play all division teams 16 times (64 games 32H/32A
For the other 30 games, play 14 of the 15 teams either 2H/0A or 0H/2A Each team will play one team 1H/1A I just have to schedule it now. |

This one will take some time. The 5 team divisions make this tricky.
I calculated the total conference series and the total division series. Since I can have 1v2 3v4 5v (1-4) I need at least 2 non division games every set of series. It comes down to 24 blocks I have 4 conference games, and 22 blocks have 2 conference games. 1 block has 10 conference games (the times the teams play 1 team 1H/1A, playing those back to back) all that means is, I have to schedule each day out by hand, because I need a certain amount of conference games per division. It has to end up where I have 4, 4, 2, 2 teams left for division play each week ( or 4, 4, 4, 4) on the 2 conference games blocks. Lots of moving pieces and I hope it all just works |

"The 5 team divisions make this tricky."
I know, that's why it's tricky |

Just wanted to give you an update. I'm getting close with this one.
Its only a 90 game schedule but it has been difficult. Lots of moving parts. I finally have it to a point where divisions 1-2 are completely scheduled and divisions 3-4 are about 75% scheduled. A few more hours the scheduling will be done and then I can test it out. |

Here you go.
I set it up for 1 subleague of 20 teams. If it's 2 subleagues I can fix that pretty quickly. 20 teams 1 subleague 4 divisions of 5 teams 16 games vs 4 division teams (8h/8r) 2 games vs 15 conference opponents (14 play 0/2 or 2/0) (each team plays one team 1/1) All two game series. About 75% games at 1905 25% of games at 1305 |

It was fun to make. Some schedules you can get the matchups that will be played and just start scheduling games.
This one, I had to determine how many conference series there would be in total. I had to then determine how many series blocks would have two, four, six, etc conference games. The only real twist with this schedule, if I only had two conference games, it was easy. D1 team plays D2 team, D3 team plays D4 team. That leaves 4 teams in each division to play division games vs each other. For the times I had 4 conference games, I needed 1 from D1, 1 from D2, and 3 from D3 and 4 ( I would need an even amount of teams from each division left to play a division game. So it just took time to go block by block and make sure each division would have enough division games in each week. Let me know if you have any issues with it. |
