someone please help with two things

I am just not figuring out two things when editing the Databases.

1) how does the game establish which team a player is on when the league first starts?

2) how does the game determine when a player shows up in the ammy draft?

Also are these function controlled in teh master list or in the hitting/pitching DBs?

I swear I typed out a response to this the other day. I don't know what could have happened to it.

1) Where he was on opening day.
2) When he made his in MLB debut. Recently, databases have been debuted players based on their professional debut, meaning when they first played in the minor leagues. Players in the latter category will almost never be major league ready. Player in the former, may be major league ready.
