MOD downloading help
Greetings OOTPers,
On this joyous day that is the release of OOTPX, I was hoping that someone could take a brief break to help me out. I am somewhat computer illiterate and was hoping someone could give me a bit of help on how to get MODs, once downloaded and on the computer, to transfer and open with the game. Thanks and appreciate the help. |

The best place to get mods from is Padresfan Mods
Every mod usually comes with a help or readme file that tells you what it does and how to "install" it. So I'd go to that website above and start looking around for mods you like and download them. |

Yep, that's the best advice. Also, if the website and README files aren't working for you, many of the newer mods on my website include links to the thread on the forums here where they are discussed. That way, you can chat with the mod creator directly.

I'm trying to do the facial hair mod, but I can't find the place to extract the files.
The readme says to extract to the facegen folder, which is in the data folder. However, my data folder only has a "Skins" and a "Logos" folder, but nothing labeled "facegen" |

Guys, look in your user folder, documents, and there should be a folder (Windows by the way) that says Out of the Park Development or something to that effect. Then you use the data folder and you'll see everything.
It's THAT folder where you extract your photos, logos, etc. so they show up in every new season you start. |
