OOPS...Need Help with parks.dat

Good Morning OOTPX friends!

I downloaded PadreFan's 2009 ballparks before he removed them due to some issues. I dropped them in the game and didn't save the original parks.dat and now the ballparks are whacked.

Can anybody recommend a fix that will stick or tell me how to get the orginal parks.dat back?

Had the same problem. The slow fix is to go into commish mode, find the edit ballpark screen and there is an option to find and load the picture for that particular field. I think this amends the park.dat file so that the right picture will come up the next time you play at that ball park. I am sure there is a better and faster way to do this, but this method works for me.

The easiest way to get the original parks.dat file back is to simply start a new league that matches the format of you existing one. Then copy the newly created parks.dat file into the existing league.
