Looking for COMPLETE expansion team files/info
Looking to expand with 2 MLB clubs to go with my real universe solo league.
I'm looking for two teams': Cap/logo Jersey/logo Team logo Budget/Market/Support info (HUGE, loyal, etc.) Minor league affiliates with logos I think that just about does it. No problem right? I did some digging around but didn't see what I was looking for and thought I'd see if there are any packages anyone has put together already. |

I like to expand my MLB too about every 20 years. Anyone have anything like what Mike Lowe is asking for? That'd be awesome.
I know in OOTP9 the game would do some of this for you (ML affiliation) etc, but are there any premade mods? |

Doesn't look like anyone has something pre-made.. if you want someone to come up with something, do you have specific cities in mind? or looking for possibilities?
From what I know, the possible cities for new teams are Portland, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Charlotte...but also San Juan, Puerto Rico, Mexico City & Monterrey, Mexico... Where the minor league affiliates would be located is countless..

I am renaming my San Antonio team from the hippie to the desperados. The Hippies is a lame name(game generated name) Fora San Antonio. SO here is my new uni for them and also for the Tejanos...I have caps/jerseys logo too. The first two are custom the other two were the in-game jerseys.

These look great, where do I save them again?
Also, anywhere to find Teflon Skies' stadiums? I remember the stadiums I used were from him and I'd love to get them again. Any real pictures of stadiums not in MLB that would look and feel like a new stadium for MLB? In other words, not looking for a picture of the Polo Grounds to call a "new" stadium. |

I was thinking about the nicknames..
San Antonio has had a baseball team for many years and the team nickname has often been Missions. I have to believe that if the city did get an expansion team, there's a good possibility that would be the nickname.. other possibilities would be to play off of the current NBA team, The Spurs.. and the WNBA's Silver Stars... maybe just Stars? Other possiblities include Renegades, Desperados, Gunslingers, Tejanos.. but my vote would be for what the defenders of the Alamo (and citizens of the Republic of Texas) were known as... Texians... San Antonio Texians As for Portland... There are a ton of possibilities.. but I tried to find something to do with the city itself. Portland has several nicknames, and the most common is "the Rose City".... I couldn't come up with anything for that.. Another nickname for the city is "Rip City".. So, how about the Rippers ? Portland Rippers eh? :-)

Awesome recs Davwms...Thank you!
Athletics, what am I doing wrong that the logos and such aren't showing up. I renamed them to follow the exact format and have restarted the game but to no avail. Is there some sort of manual loading that needs to be done? |

Got it thanks!
2 more questions: What are the exact colors used for the logos etc. above? Also, what do you do if the stadiums you want to use did not come with park config files? These are Teflon stadiums. |

I didn't see an actual logo. So I quickly redid two versions of one of my teams' logo. You can use it or maybe someone will come up with something better?

OK... I'm sold on the TimberJacks.. it's different, but not too different... it fits with the region that the team is in..
Here is my rendition of a logo... colors are based on the official flag of the city of Portland...

Excellent job as always, davwms, but I think we should have the mascot tested for performance enhancing drugs!
