Hidden Files??

I'm trying to modify the view for one league only. I have two problems.

1. Default_Player_photo. I have created a histoical league and have loaded the photos. Some players don't have photos (this is an old league). I created my own default_player_photo and put it in the .lg/news/images file, but the game still used it's default photo. So I deleted the default photo in the data/pictures and the put my photo in that pictures photo. However the games default is still showing. I have checked every folder in the /data and in the .lg folders and there is no original default photo. So where does it come from??


2. I changed every pic file in the templates/images file. I did this in a separate file then copied all the images to the .lg/news/images folder. They all took except the rating bars and the stars. I don't want to change the data/templates/images folder becasue this change is only for one league. But I don't understand why those two elements didn't change. I didn't rename any files just changed the image. Same size and same file type.

So are there files elsewhere that aren't visible?

Lots of looks but no-one has any answers?

I have solved problem #1 by creating a pitcher file for every player. It is the best solution so I can use updates from other sources, just a lot more work.

I would still like to understand problem #2. While I'm not there yet, I suspect this will also impact my web site customiztion.

Any of you expert modders care to comment?

OK. Let me ask the question another way. I am trying to create a special look for one particular league. I am at least conversant in html and style sheets. I look at the one thread in OOTP9 forum, so I have taken the template folder off line and work with it, then past it into the league folder.

I can get some of the graphics to change. Not the ones listed in the above post. I also can't get the font to change or the font color. In fact the style sheet and the font colors used in thae game don't even match.

Can anyone provide some help here?
