Nations.txt

I am trying to create a new nation for my game, but I can't find the nations.txt file. I have created one and entered the new nation but am I right in saying there should be a file with all the current nations in? I am playing on a mac by the way

EDIT: The nation doesn't appear on the list of playable nations

The nations.txt file should be in your Database folder. When you create a new nation, make sure you also create some cities for it (in the cities.txt file). That may be one reason why it isn't showing up.

I have created some cities, but when I went into the database folder it was empty, I'm assuming that is the problem

Where are you looking for the database folder? All of the important OOTP stuff is in the directory under My Documents, not in Program Files.
