Schedule has no interleague play and is unbalanced with divisional opponents played about twice as many games per team as non-divisional opponents.

Created by doubling up and divisionally rearranging schedule of 16-team league from the second schedule here. See top of the file for more details.

Any chance I can get a schedule w/ less interleague?

24 teams, 2 leagues, 2 divisions, 6 teams/division

unbalanced schedule (emphasis on intradivision)

18 interleague games (rather then 32 in the file that's already posted)

All-star game in middle.

Thanks.

I plan to have a college baseball league with 40 teams ( 2 leagues per 4 divisions ) and need to have a 70-game schedule. It should run from the beginning of March to the end of June. Ideally it has four playing days and three off-days per week. Obviously it has to be unbalanced and can have one, two or three-game series. Teams should play two 3-game series against division opponents (home/away). Can you help?

so, I'm starting a fictional league and I'd like to create a fictional schedule for it...but I have NO clue how to go about making one.

I know all the parameters...just not how to do it.

2 leagues, 4 divisions, 4 team per division (32 total).
162 game schedule - each team plays teams in it's own division 14 times, the other teams in the league 9 times, and plays 3 interleague games against the corresponding conference (East plays East only).

anyone have some hints? or want to take this on?

Hey, I just wanted to play the Nats on Opening day!

24 team, 162 game schedules

2 leagues, 2 divisions in each, 6 teams in each

102 division games (20-21 per opponent)
42 league games outside division (7 per opponent)
18 interleague games (3 per opponent)

Strongly unbalanced with little interleague play, the two versions of the schedule attached have the interleague matchups against different divisions but are otherwise identical.

See the top of the files for more details.

2 leagues, 4 divisions in each, 4 teams in each

42 division games (14 per opponent)
108 league games outside division (9 per opponent)
12 interleague games (3 per opponent)

There are four versions of the schedule within the attached zip file which have the interleague matchups against different divisions but are otherwise identical. The first version ("1") has the interleague division matchups being with the corresponding divisions (1vs1, 2vs2, etc), and the others deviate from that.

He probably used "replace all" and did something like this:

Replaced all 17's with XX
Replaced all 18's with 17's
Replaced all 19's with 18's
Replaced all XX's with 19's

I only know this because I did the same thing once when it was suggested by GMO.

This schedule was designed for my Wisconsin-Minnesota League, season runs 154 days with very few off dates (all off dates are Wednesdays) during the season. Divisional games are at the start and end of the schedule to insure that divisional races are not influenced by inter/intraleague games at the end of the season.

24 team, 144 games schedule

2 leagues, 2 divisions in each, 6 teams in each

60 division games (12 per opponent)
36 league games outside division (6 per opponent)
48 interleague games (4 per opponent)

See the top of the files for more details.

Wondering if someone can help me come up with something here. I'm looking to start up a new league, and could use a good schedule for it. I've got 2 leagues, 1 divsion with 4 teams each. All teams play 96 games. Since I have both league pretty far apart (Dublin, London, Stratford, Madrid in L1, Toyko, Brisbane, Hong Kong and Taipei in L2) I'd like to have teams go on a Interleague tour about half way through the season, with one series about a week before the ASG and one a week after. Interleague play would be 6 games against each team in the other league, three game in each series, teams would have two days off before the start of Interleague play.. League in set in 2031 (starts on a friday), and I'd like the season to start on june 12th with the ASG on August 12th.

Anyway, that's the best I could come up with. Anything would be useful, and I am of course completely open to ANY suggestions. Thanks for any help anyone could provide.

8 team, 96 game schedule

2 leagues, 1 division in each, 4 teams in each, or
1 league, 2 divisions, 4 teams in each

72 division/league games (24 per opponent)
24 games outside division/league (6 per opponent)

Made in an attempt to satisfy this request, the schedule has all the interleague (interdivision) play piled in around the All-Star Break. See the top of the file for more details.

Nope, that's pretty much what I wanted. Already simmed 3 seasons with it. One thing I'm considering though, upon further reflection is moving the league's starting date up so that the July trade deadline occurs at the midway point through the season. Think that's a good idea?

I's don't critiques 'em like that, I's just makes 'em.

Having said that, since you've already done 3 seasons it seems you are not so controlling of every detail in the league that testing it with adjusted dates for a few seasons would bother you much. And now that I think about it, a week (or even less) is all the adjustment needed to get July 31 be about the games-played midpoint.

Schedule request...

Hi Group,

I have the following request. 36 teams, 144 games. Two games, one home, one away versus each of the teams in the other league, for 36 games. Four games, two home, two away against each opponent in the other two divisions within the league, for 48 games. Twelve games, 6 home and 6 away against each of the division rivals, for 60 games. An all-star game mid season, and typical days off...

Also, can you tell me what program you use to make the schedules?

thanks
john
