Problem with historical imports in multi-league universe
Not sure if this is a bug, or something that the game won't allow by design.
At startup, I create a world with two independent major leagues. (both at major league level, neither is the parent of the other). League A is an OOTP6.5 import. League B is a new fictional league. League B is set up to import and draft historical players. League A is set to generate fictional rookies. At draft pool-creation time, League B indicates that it is loading players from the database. However, when I open the draft pool, all the players generated are fictional. Is this a known issue? Is there any way to get this to work, so that only one league out of two is using historical rookies? I have tried this same project with League B as a major league-level daughter league of League A, and the historical players import perfectly. (However, this introduces additional difficulties that I would prefer to avoid). |
