Historical Sim Question

Is there a way to make sure the leauge setup doesn't change in a historical sim? For example, when the MLB expanded to three divisions in the 80's (i think?), is there a way to reflect that in a historical league that I started in the 60's using the Lahman database?

It never changes automatically. You would have to make any changes you want, including the historical ones.
