Historical All-Star Games

I am running a Historical Sim starting in 1901 going forward. The issue I am having is that no All-Star game is being held. Now I realize that there was no All-Star game this early but I wanted to also use this historical sim as a barometer for how well the selection of players is.

In League Setup, under the Options tab, I have checked both the 'Hold All-Star Game' and the 'Automatically Schedule Allstar Game'. I thought that this meant that an All-Star game would be held.

I am sure I am missing something that may be obvious or minor but I would appreciate any help that can be provided on either how to fix this or what I am doing wrong.
