Wow, you had quite a few really good players with CEI's. I havent played 2006 enough to know if that is the norm or not.

what Player aging and Stat modifiers did you use? Everyone else has been saying how players play into their 50's and have all-time leaders with 5000 hits, 1000 hr, 450 wins.

you have 1 player ever to hit more than 3000 hits
1 player over 700, 2 players over 600 career HR
and no one at the 300 win mark, only 2 in the 260's

just wondering what your settings were to give such dramatically different results

Thanks for Sharing

Thanks for sharing. Its always fun to look at the stats of these replays. Just browsing here are some things that I noticed.

Steve Sax was a HOF'er! I guess he never forgot how to throw to 1b in your replay.

Mariano Riveria was a starter, and not a very good one.

Frank Robinson deserves some HOF consideration. .289/506/1504

Barry Bonds would of put up some massive numbers if he didn't wake up one day with "blurred vision"... 353 HR's in 10 years

Dave Henderson had a better Career than Rickey Henderson

And I had to go check up on my favorite of all time, Dave Winfield, to find that he had a really disapointing career...But while I was looking at his Player History made me wonder what happend on June 1st 1979, White Sox v. Yankees, and Winny went 4-10 3 HR's 4 RBI 2 Runs. To get 10 AB's in a game is pretty impressive.

And my final observation, was that the Phillies won 9 Championships...and we all that would never happen...There from Philly! We don't win Championships here we just get close...

The CEI rate is well under 1% a year.

NOTE: This season was ran on a previous build. I basically changed nothing, using the default settings and the computer ran everything. I think I did forget to change the save settings until late in the simulation, so closers were not used very often for most of the simulation.

I never expanded. So, as each season moved to the next, there were more and more players available. I think this changed the way the league went, as far as not as many 3000 hit guys, etc.

So, when I started in 1950, I had 16 teams. The amount of 'new rookies' increased each year, based on how many new teams there were.

I think the coolest part, is this created a very real 'alternate universe'. If you did not know baseball history, you could very easily accept this baseball history.

I do wish it would automate the expansion process, but understand how much work that would be. Maybe they will do it for our birthday in a later patch.

I am going to try a new season with expansion maybe...

Looks like in this world Robin Yount decided to play professional golf instead of becoming a Hall of Famer as he is in ours.

Drafted in 1973.
Retired in 1974.

That is odd, with no injuries.
