players won't go away
i have players not assigned to any teams that won't retire and go away. i career end injury them and they still stay on the list of active players. can someone help me? this seems a logical thing to fix. just make any player not assigned to a team retire after a year of not being signed

Don't really like your idea to automatically retiring anyone who isn't signed--but I'm not sure why a player isn't being retired when you check the CEI box. For me, players are released the next day and retire at the end of the season.

well there are many many players in that situation that i have given career ending injuries to and still show up as active players. luckily they aren't on anyone's roster. i think they may be players that never were on a roster.
my idea is if they spend one year without signing on with a team they aren't likely to be signed again especially when they are so old. so they should just go away. call it the sammy sosa rule |
