Money on or off
Intend running a solo league covering ted williams career, 1939-1960, my question is will going with financials off make it easier to control rosters. Pears to me that would be so. Want to be able to keep my key players for their whole careers.
2nd solo league starting in 1960 will run concurrently to cover fisk, rice, lynn's careers. Same thing Season a month.

I think this will be a little different in the next version, where it sounds like you can have financials on (thus your players actually earn salaries and your team makes or loses money) but have free agency turned off, thus simulating reserve-clause era baseball. So yes, you should be able to do what you're talking about. In previous versions, you would've had to have financials turned completely off.
