Advice-what to get for OOTPB 2006?
I have just bought the game and the amount of different stuff available is slightly overwhelming to me. I want to have the correct MLB and other league real team and player names, what is the best option for me out there? What other mods should i be looking to add to my game-what are the most impressive graphical add-ons etc. Help will be massively appreciated.

Be aware that the foreign stuff will take longer, due to the relative lack of information available - especially information that is actually in English.

So far I have got the MLB 2.0 save and the great logos by truthserum. Thanks for your advice guys. Could somebody evaluate the best databases out there for me? I am not particularly bothered about historical stuff, I want a db for a good sim of modern baseball.

Until the real thing arrives, I am using the MLB Quickstart 2.0 with truthserum's logos and EricJaffe's MVP2005 Parks and whilst far from perfect it is fun to muck around with. I plan to post my co-ordinates for the MVP2005 Parks.

How do you guys play the game-just used saved games, or do you edit the database fully? I find it quite difficult to mix and match bits of databases with saves. Some files have data I want in the game for a certain league, whilst others have better data for another league. I really need a list of what files have to be in the database file at all times, which ones can be chopped and changed, and what stats/detail they affect. Does such a guide exist? The customisation one didn't really help me.
Also, when importing rosters at the 'game setup' screen, I get Microsoft Error reports ever time I try. What files should I be importing? Last edited by BlackCats101 : 06-15-2006 at 03:16 PM. |
