Long ABs and foul balls

Just saw this AB in one of the games I Quick Played (it was in the game log)

0-0: Called Strike
0-1: Foul Ball
0-2: Ball
1-2: Ball
2-2: Ball
3-2: Foul Ball
3-2: Foul Ball
3-2: Foul Ball
3-2: Foul Ball
3-2: 2-RUN HOME RUN (Flyball, 9LD), Distance : 446 ft

I love long ABs like this (even when they happen to me - I like the pitcher/batter battle), and was wondering what prompts foul balls? Is it a function of the Avoiding K's (i.e. part of the rating helps "fight off" pitches) rating or just random whenever contact is made (i.e. any of those three foul balls could have just been something else)?

Is it a function of pitcher stuff (high stuff meant my hitter could only foul those balls off) or was it because the pitcher had high stuff that the fouls were generated instead of a hit earlier in the AB?

I also seem to see more when I manage when I call a lot of hit-and-run or run-and-hit plays. Sometimes on balls down the middle or out of the strike zone.

Good question...maybe a combination of the things you listed, and maybe a few more.
