Publishing a League on the web
I just started a league and I wanted to export the stuff onto webpages for everyone but I don't know how to make a site and export the stuff...Can someone help me?
Take me from picking a website to host the league to importing the files onto the page and what to do in updating it...... Last edited by blakejeff : 07-21-2006 at 01:38 AM. |

Not sure if you've seen this before, or if you really wanted to do it all yourself and host it as well, but this site might be helpful.

This is going to largely depend on how complicated your league site will be. As far as free hosts go, personally, I'd avoid Angelfire and Tripod, simply because they insert their adverts into your XP register - and that's a bit much, and a PITA to delete. Yahoo GeoCities offers 15MB, FortuneCity is 25Mb - but you're going to have ads on your site. There are also file size limitations - I believe 1Mb on either site.
Depending on how your stats are presented and how detailed they are it might not take too long before these limits are reached. When I finally get around to posting my league stats they're going to be monsters - somewhere around 450Kb per game. But the stats will be detailed, and that's the way I want to do it. Good luck, John |
