multi-nation leagues

Please accept my apology if this issue has already been discussed as I am sure it has. I just downloaded the game to get started (looks amazing!) and for the project I had in mind I wanted to be able to include cities from a variety of countries sort of like what the euroleague dynasty had going. Is this feasible? thank you for your help.

You can put teams in any nation you want, but you'll have to edit them to the proper city/nation after creation under the Team Options screen. You have to select a single-nation for the origin of the league, however. Without a bit of work, it won't be possible to make each team only have players from their nation--not sure if you exactly want that, though.

That will work perfectly for me actually, I am doing a Middle East/North African league so I can use the arabic name set for all the countries concerned. Basically gonna do a dynasty report where several NGOs+US government fund a baseball league in the region to use sports as an olive branch

The problem I've encountered at this screen (and maybe I'm doing it incorrectly) is that once you change the nation, it doesn't provide you a drop-down in order to select a city. So it appears you need to have that laid out before you make the selection and simply input the city that you have chosen. Is that correct?

Yeah I already had the cities in mind, and once i punched them in the computer found them in its database. So for instance when I had the city of Cairo typed in, then set the country to Egypt, the computer found the coords. for Cairo that are preloaded.

I might be misunderstanding what you're having troubles with, but I just went into one of my leagues, changed the nation of one of the teams. I entered a city in the nation into the city search box and the menu dropped down just fine for me.
