Promoting Minor League Scouts and Coaches

Is there a way to assign a scout on my Single A team to my AA Team? It will let me promote him to the Majors, but not upwards in the minors.

Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forums, chops.

From what I have seen, you can demote scouts to any minor league level from the majors, but you can promote minor league scouts only to the majors. So the workaround here is to play musical chairs with them. That is, promote your A scout to the majors, selecting one of the ML scout positions (note the slot that you chose); they will trade places. Promote your AA scout to the majors (same slot); he will trade places with the guy from A, accomplishing your purpose. Finally, promote the guy who is now in A, who really is your major league scout, to the majors (same slot), switching them as well.

Follow all that? I had to read it three times myself.
