Question for the Commish Peeps

I could write a utility that could do this:

1. You launch my program.
2. You launch OOTP 2006 and play a game manually. Everytime you click on BOX SCORES or LOG, my program will then FTP the box score or log file to a designated FTP location where people could see the game in progress.

So, you could click on the BOX SCORE after each half inning, each inning, or whenever you want.

Before my program uploaded the box score, it would add a meta tag that would make the the box score automatically refresh itself every minute.

Would anyone be interested in this utility?

I'm sure a lot of people would like that. All the leagues I've been in, ran, or seen have all wanted to play out games. If only you can somehow get the PBP in there to and you would have a jackpot.

So it's like the Broadcast feature in v6.5, except you can choose when the upload the box score? I can't see where this would be a bad thing.

Note: related to molarmite's comment, the Broadcast feature did include PBP as well.

It would include Box Scores and/or Play by play.

When you click on BOX SCORES or PLAY BY PLAY while playing a game, it automatically generates the HTML. I just watch for those files being changed and then would FTP it.

So, it would be up to the guy that plays the game out how often to click it.

This would be fantastic. I know we'd use it for our playoff games.

That'd be awesome, PBP sims were always the best in OOTP 6.5 leagues.
