Yea, I would want to just weather the storm the first few years with the draft. I'm sure there were a few decent players...

Musial debuted in 41. So would he be in the original draft? or are we waiting until our second year for our first draft?

Stan Musial, Johnny Pesky and Vern Stephens are all in the draft in the 1941 draft. At least from the perspective of the top, that has to be one of the better drafts you will see.

What are Stephens' ratings? Always felt he was an underrated player.

Shows my lack of research on the subject. Looks like we'll be fine, as is.
I'm not opposed to 'early' integration, but I'm not looking to re-write history.

Potential 70 on a 20-80 scale. Currently a 62. This is subject to change.

Unfortunately, not really. We start a week from Thursday. I'll be away on vacation from this Thursday to next Wednesday and I won't have internet access while away. However, look for a league file, owners' page, message board, and e-mail update in the next 24-48 hours.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be in Florida until next Wednesday and the file/first sim will be late. Look for the file next Thursday, with an e-mail, and for our first sim to be Sunday.

Sorry about the delay, but I got caught up in my business (see top link in sig) and pre-trip packing, etc.
