I'm having problems downloading and extracting our league's update files to update properly since I installed the game on my new laptop running Vista Home Premium.
I play in a sim league wherein our league commissioner runs the simmed games and posts the results for us to see and download. When I attempt to download a daily file, it appears to save correctly but when I then try to open the file I get an access denied message. I can then go to the list, click on the file again and use the run command instead of save. This also appears to work correctly but when I then start up OOTP 6.5, the league has not updated. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Ken |

2 ways:
1. Right click on the link to the program and go to "Run as Administrator" 2. Right click on the link to the program and go to properties. From there there is a tab that I think is called Compatability. Click the check box next to "Run as Administrator". This method will remember your choice so that every time you run the program it will be run as the administrator.
