Financial Help
I began a fictional league a few weeks ago, with 18 teams - an expanded ALPB, the original teams - Long Island Ducks, Lancaster Barnstormers, but added several new teams as well.
It is going well, but I can't get a set financial system that I like or is effective. The avg. attendance is 10,000, tickets $11.00, media contract is $3.0mil. After 18 mil there is revenue sharing. Superstars make 6mil, then 4.2, 1.85, 1.0, .500, .320, .250, and .150 Avg. Coach is .150, and the league minimum is $100,000. Problem is, owners make so much, there is hardly any movement is FA, and most teams are well below their projected budget. Thing is, this is a independent league, and it needs to be able to support the players, but noone should be making anywhere near 6mil. Maybe like 2 million for a superstar, but the league needs to be profitable as well. If anyone can help me out that'd be awesome. Also we play 150 games a season. |
