Looking for a DB expert -Ping Arod or Garlon
Something I thought about just a few mins ago, that would benefit myself, Erich and Cubby. IS it possible to go through the DB and remove players with the exception of just their final seasons in the DB? my reason for asking is so that when creating current day roster sets we could go through and import players a year at a time and have all of the retired players with their final career stats, and then have correct hall of famers as well?
but if there's an easier way to accomplish this, please let me know. so that I can try it out and then share my sucess with Erich and Cubby Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out here |

It's doable but involves using some creative queries in Access or formulas in Excel. They need to be only a little creative and not at all complex. In Access, create a query that only pulls data for the year column is the MAX. Then export it and voila...
