DOB for Serie Nacional...

Does anyone know how to get them? I've looked for it for a while now, and I found some nice up-to-date rosters for the Cuban Serie Nacional, but nothing with birthdates... that would be a nice addition though...

jope, all I've found is some biographical information for some players, presumably top prospects or established/retired players. However, we're only talking about less than 20 players IIRC. That kind of information is difficult to come by, probably as a result of the state of politics and culture. Do we even know how old El Duque is???

But yes, it would be nice to have, especially because I've found a complete historical record for the Serie (career totals only, no team or yearly info) that would be perfect for a database. Can't even tell when these guys played (1960-present) without serious cross-referencing sources that may not be readily available.

have you tried searching any olympics-related sites. You might get a few DOBs there. Maybe from the World Baseball Classic too? Obviously this isn't going to get you all the Cubans but you might find some.

all but gourriel, he is listed as born in 1983, pretty amazing though...
