Updated Rolen17OpeningDay Roster (2007)

Well, I was bored this past couple of days and I've updated Rolen's amazing set. I asked permission from him if I could release it and he gave me the go signal.

The transactions were updated until yesterday. I think Jason Scmidt is the only free agent I missed. (It's ready for free-agent signing, etc. Offseason to be exact.)

I already sent it to the mod squad. Just waiting for their confirmation.

There are a few mishaps since some of the players and managers retired, but that's about it, I think.

Nope. Just roster changes. I simmed the 2006 season.

Nope, I've replied to your PM, btw.

Just download it. Place it under data/saved_games then load it.

I am not quite happy with the aging of the players because I can't find a good development modifier for current rosters. I just noticed that in my dynasty.

I've tried to lower the pitching modifiers but still, the pitchers develop very fast. Even the batters develop quite hastily. I don't know what modifier should be used.

I tried those modifiers also and I found my batters seem to be ok, but my pitchers progressed WAY to fast. Cy Young winners were usually 20-23 years old and after 28 they pretty much died. So I've been happy so far with:

1.000
1.000

I've been toying with the idea of using a number like .400 for aging. because the game seems to kill off players between 28-30. So I'm trying to find the right numbers to get me players like Roger Clemens that are still sucessfull in their 40's.

This is something that I have not been happy with at all either and I still haven't found a modifier that I like yet.
