Help with rosters

I downloaded cubbyfan's rosters. I extracted them to the data folder in 2007. I can't figure out how to start a game with these rosters. I tried load save game, I then created a saved_games folder in the data folder and placed it in there, still nothing. I'm sure it is something simple, any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

did you extract them into a folder called cubbyroster.lg?

The name of the folder isn't important but having the .lg there is.

yes, I did put that at the end. I used to be fine with this on previous versions, but I didn;t play much last year and am having problems remembering it all.

OK, you should have had a saved games folder already. You shouldn't have to create one. The file should be extracted there and you should be all set. Make sure you didn't extract a .lg folder inside a .lg folder (depenind on how it was zipped and how you extracted this could happen)

That is what I thought. I trashed the whole thing and downloaded it again. I opened the data folder and the only folders in there are fonts and skins.

The saved game folder for 2007 is in your documents directory, not the 2007 game directory...

like c:\users\xxx\my documents\sports interactive\data\saved games

or something like that. you will find the default.lg etc there.
and thats of course, where you want to put your .lg folder.

Oh yeah, forgot that people don't know this new setup. It is a Vista thing so we must get used to it. Thanks for reminding me in case I have to help someone else with this.
