Fictional MLB 2007

I did one of these last year and thought I would update it for 07:

http://www.ootpmodsquad.com/mods/qui...07v2.quick.rar

Use winrar to extract this file in your quickstarts folder. This is a MLB setup with 3 levels of minors, all correct team names, affiliations, logos, uni's (thanks, Icy!), ballpark names/dimensions/factors, etc. Player pics have been generated already as well. The only things fake are the players.

Thanks,

this one was great last year, and I am sure will be wonderful this year. I really like the compromise between fun and depth. (OK, so I don't really care about every league out there, I just want to be able to play at good speed)

Thanks again.

Anyone else have problems when creating a new manager, no team and trying to sim multiple seasons? I keep getting errors around June 16th.

nice! I appreciate the hard work. I just released everyone and redrafted so I had more of a personal feel to my team.

That sounds like it might be a draft issue since the draft is the day before. Not sure what the cause would be. The file is set up with commish mode active for Joe Unknown. Instead of creating a new manager you can just rename him. Maybe that would help?

Everything is working fine for me except one small problem. The ball park images are not showing up. I have the images located in data/ballparks of the install directory. When I go to look at the image in-game it is blank. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Did you use Bogart's Stadium Pics? I used those in my setup and the file names are associated with that. You can DL them at www.ootpmodsquad.com under mods/stadiums. Unzip into your ballparks folder. If you are using someone else's pics then you will have to rename the file on the stadium page to match those pics.

Thanks.

Those stadium names are named different, and they did work. Thanks for the assist.

Now im getting an error at about 6/15. Something about Northern having no pitcher available, then southern, then game errors that loop.

I'll look into it some more. Sounds like an all-star game doesn't have a pitcher or something?

I will have to look at this when I get home tonight. Someone else reported a similar problem. If you figure it out let me know. The draft is on 6/15 so it is possible the minor league teams aren't being filled correctly by the AI.

In my 'OOTP Baseball 2007' folder I have only one folder: 'data'. In the 'data' folder I have only two other folders: 'fonts' and 'skins'. I'm not sure where to extract this to, as I cannot find a 'quickstart' folder. Whatever help you can provide would be appreciated.

Also, are there plans to do the same for Low A, rookie ball and/or International leagues?

They changed it so the data of the game is actually under "My Documents" in the Sports Interactive folder. Had me confused too

I don't plan on it but you could add them in. Check the manual for a how-to. I only use 3 levels of minors as I don't really enjoy having to manage so many levels of the minors. This setup is kind of a mirror of a 6.5 setup if you ever played that version of OOTP.

Just a note: this was probably done in order to make the game MS Vista compliant. -j

Is there a way to import all of these into an existing game? Rather than going to each team and changing each one individually?
