Gambo vs. Lahman vs. Rosters Question
I've been playing OOTP since OOTP3. I've never used these 2 databases aside from looking at them. They are impressive; very detailed and include statistics for historical accuracy which is vital for me. What is the best option to start with a 2007 MLB season? If I use the Gambo does it "really" include minor leaguers? Would this give me more depth than waiting for a MLB roster set? Would I be able to start in 2007 with the Gambo database? If so, why do we even need a "roster set."
I've been reading and lurking while looking for answers here and there the past few days. I haven't bought the game yet as I'm going on a cruise tomorrow and figured I'd wait to read impressions after I get back. I would ultimately be waiting for some sort of roster file to turn up before purchasing as well. God bless the roster creators, I wish I had that kind of time! Thanks and enjoy! I'll be looking forward to the responses. |

None of the "databases" will give you 2007 players. For 2007 wait for someone to release "rosters". Probably cubbyfan will be 1st
