Best roster to use
I know all about there not being a current roster set so I'm trying to find an alternate one to use for this year until ootp 2008 comes out
. I have used the lahman database and well that sucks to use IMO. What roster is the most current one out there does it contain the following:1. stats from the 2006 2. Up to date on player movement 3. Real minor league players 4. Real coaches The set doesn't have to contain all of the above, i'm just giving an example of what I'm trying to find. I remember back in the good old days of 6.51that the set I used had all of the above. Just let me know what sets you all would recommend. Thanks in advance for helping me Also could you link where I can download any of the rosters you all would suggest. Last edited by AirmenSmith : 05-01-2007 at 04:42 AM. |

I tried the Lahman DB but it is horrible at rating ppl IMO. I found cubby fans rosters, so I have been getting that up to date for about 3 hours now. I'm setting all the players on the right team and i'm making all the contracts the right amount. These rosters look promising.
Where did Gambo get his DB from? I haven't tried his yet. |

Ok you have a point CBL, When you do sim out the imported year it does produce good stats. But beyond that imported year is when it starts to get bad. It gives ppl that would be 4 or 5 stars only 1 star. But the database is mostly used for replaying a season so I guess I shouldn't expect to much.
