1986 MLB quickstart
hi everyone,
i just finished up a 1986 MLB quickstart. It features a full complement of minors (all levels + 2 winter leagues), personnel, and stadiums. It is a "hybrid" league in that it uses fictional players to round out the multitude of minor league teams. I used Gambo's db for this, so players are imported when they made their pro debut. ive tested it out, it works runs pretty well. i included a readme file that has all the important information and instructions. if anyone is interested in hosting this, let me know.

I will host it
I've still got a little work to get done in setting up the 'Pages' of the Site, but I am doing a Saga of Heroes - The Schilling Years (Curt Schilling) where I will be playing from 1986 - 2007 or 2008 and see how the Digital Schilling compares to the Real Schilling.
Webstie url will be http://sagaofheroes.info/files/

That's a sad tale and one that illustrates the importance of backing up your leagues.

i did, actually, and thats what really annoying me. i dumped a bunch of files on cdr's cause i was getting a bit tight on HD space. maybe i need to go through the cdr's again and see if i missed it. 'cause of course i found the most trivial stuff, everything it seems except what i need right now.

If you keep a Sharpie permanent marker by your computer then when you burn CD's you can write on each CD just what you've burned on it. This has helped me out a lot.
