Need some help here. Supposedly this guy played professionally but I can find no listing for a Thomas Foster on baseball-reference.com. Could this possibly be Elmer Foster by chance? Or is it more likely that the "played professionally" info is not accurate?

"Played professionally" could very well mean he played in a league that wasn't the NL / UA / PL, etc. He could have played in any of the number "lesser" leagues.

One of those accident things. I was actually searching for Dennis Konuszewski (1995) and found him playing on one of those 19th century vintage base ball teams. Found a picture of the team (still looking for him) and there with it was a picture of the original 1883 Saginaw Old Golds.

This is exactly why I still search for pictures. The unknown treasures that you stumble across. Anyways, here is the link...
