Need some help here. Supposedly this guy played professionally but I can find no listing for a Thomas Foster on baseball-reference.com. Could this possibly be Elmer Foster by chance? Or is it more likely that the "played professionally" info is not accurate?

"Played professionally" could very well mean he played in a league that wasn't the NL / UA / PL, etc. He could have played in any of the number "lesser" leagues.
