Dick Allen 1963
I know these are real obscure photos we been posted the last 2 days or so. Just trying to help out a friend who has been helping us out with photos. He is trying to get as many different photos of players in uniforms that they played for in their playing days. Here is his face pack that he put out. But he has many many more to go. I will still post more missing photos as we find them from the Gambo missing list,as well as any cool updated better photo when I find them . Thanks! http://hosted.filefront.com/pegasus27/ Last edited by bearman14 : 02-23-2008 at 09:45 AM. |

Alternate pic
The discovery by Ren Petrie of the elusive Jing Johnson was indeed a very significant find. He was the last pitcher remaining from the 20th Century to lead a club in wins for a season to be found. That now leaves only Tony (Fred) Daniels of the 1945 Philadelphia Phillies outstanding as a player who was a regular for a team in any one season from the 20th Century. A regular I have defined as a player who played more games than any other player for a team in a given season at 1 position. The pic posted recently as Dick Scott 1901 , I have as Ed Scott 1900. |
