Thanks UKBaseballfan for the great pictures. BTW, the one of Ruffing is in Red Sox uni. I respect contributors' time and would not want them to duplicate any work currently available. I have logged many hours examining every available facepack source and selected the best pre-1950 b&w photos for color of which WrightWing has the most. I assure you that the great bulk of the players listed are not colorized in WrightWing's Facepack or Gambo. My guess is contributors are aware of the many players of the 30's and 40's which are still waiting for color. My intent to is draw greater awareness of this fact and hope that more photos will be added to the current stock to the delight of historical simmers.

I am keeping track of the photos.... there will be a release of a year by year of all pics (I like) for players acquired. Similiar to the previous release. I will call it V 2.0

there will also be a release of updates, also year by year basis. I will call it updates.

Some of the photos in the update folder will be different that the regular release. Because some individuals did release photos others may like, but I personally like the original photo we had.

So you have a couple of choices. Go with the photos I like. or take the time... starting with the 2.0 and go through updates and choose the photos you want.

I am way behind on these photos though.... page 167. My laptop spent one month in Best Buy/ Geek squad Hell.....

If you guys are interested in saving me a little time.... .bmp pics can be converted to .jpg pics using microsoft paint


open pic in paint...
save as....
change file type from .bmp to .jpg
save your file.

you will end up with the same pic as jpg and bmp in the same folder.

UKBaseballfan: Several more pictures popping up since my last post. So far I'm especially liking the Mize, and O'Doul (Phil uniform). You are finding photos from sources I am not familiar with (I guess I don't know them all). I am most appreciative of your effort, but I want to draw attention to the two lists I posted earlier. Kindly notice that my requests are very specific as to team uniform. This is an attempt to assist anyone making contributions to avoid duplicates. The O'Doul (NY), Kell (Baltimore), Newcombe (Cin) and Fain (ChiWS) are duplicates from other sources and not from my list. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate your time. I'm just trying to save you some.
